Film Composition

	Dazed in Doon Written and Directed by Oscar-nominated Ashvin Kumar, Dazed in Doon is a coming of age story set in the elite Indian Doon School. As there are many escapist and fantasy sections in the narrative, the music flows through a wide range of genres, often taking a surreal and psychedelic tone. Several cues contain the vocal stylings of Indian Guru Vedang Dharashive, who improvises around traditional Indian Raags and songs.


	Stigma Stigma is a multimedia art project aimed at raising awareness about Mental Health. The film component is presented in triptych, with three real-life sufferers shown having panic attacks. In the closing section of the film, the final build up of anger and frustration is accompanied by a churning, distorted wall of sound. Directed by Nicolas Laborie.

	Golf With A Shotgun In this black comedy, we follow a deeply depressed character called Dave as he botches a number of suicide attempts. In desperation, he decides to take a clay pigeon shooting lesson and force the instructor to kill him, but all doesn't go quite to plan. Film Directed by Kristof Deak.


	Another Night Another Night is a short film directed by Zaira Brilhante. The story centres around a chance encounter between a fiery girl and a shabby old man, bonding over their mutual love of classic cinema. The music was performed live to picture, on a slightly out-of-tune piano, to capture something of the magic of the golden age of film. Below is a selection of moments from the soundtrack.


	Aller Retour Aller Retour is an art film from Photographer / Director Magali Moreau, showing train journeys in South London. The music is made of layered and processed organic elements; guitars, pianos, percussion and voice.

	Blindfield Blindfield is a film project by Christine Webster, set in a women's insane asylum. Archive footage and newly shot material are combined with a noisy, ambient soundtrack to disturb and disorient the viewer. All the sounds were created using processed guitar, voice and violin.
