A short film based on the gruelling experience of director Christine Webster’s own Grandmother who was the recipient of ECT treatment in an asylum in the 1950s in New Zealand. Archive footage and newly shot material are combined with Rael’s noisy, ambient soundtrack to disturb and disorient the viewer.  All the sounds were created using heavily processed guitar, voice and violin.
