The great Liverpudlian crime drama “This City Is Ours” has just launched on BBC – I’ve been working on the soundtrack for a while.

As an instrument, the guitar is inextricably linked with Liverpool. I decided to draw on this history by using it for much of the score, with a modern approach to fit a present day setting. Sometimes the instrument is heavily processed and deconstructed, almost unrecognisably so. You can hear the soundtrack here and watch a trailer below.
